Dear
Qualified
engineers (absorbed from DOT or BSNL recruited)
As
it is well known to all of us that sixth pay revision is
going to be implemented for which a committee has been
formed headed by Justice Rao. This is the right time to
think about qualified engineers and for the growth and
the betterment of our beloved BSNL. One side we have cut
throat competition from private operators and on the
other side our talented qualified engineers (absorbed
from DOT or BSNL recruited) are being deprived for their
deserves and migrating to other private companies. We
are continuously struggling for high technological
equipment so that we can compete the private operators
but we have forgot that private operators have highly
qualified technocrats to run the highly technical and
advance system and at the same time they appraises
technocrat to reach the highest level on the
qualification basis. If we are thinking for survival of
BSNL our thought must be broad and diversified. We
should not see the one side of coin. We have demanded
pay scale on qualification basis in our DPE questioniers
for sixth pay commission not only for BSNL recruited
engineers but for all qualified engineers from DOT also.
Similarly,
MT recruitment should be done only on the basis of
Qualification. 100% of recruitment should be done from
the department (BSNL) only (50% seniority cum fitness
and 50% departmental exam) because we have highly
qualified, experienced and skilled engineers from
DOT/BSNL, who have complete technical knowledge, since
our is core technical department.
It
is our appeals to all qualified engineers don’t miss
this chance, which can bring respect to all engineers.
All the graduate engineer (from DOT or BSNL) are
requested to raise this issue to their concern
associations /union to put the demand of qualification
based salary package in the sixth pay commission. All
the other PSUs and private sectors are already
appraising the qualified person then why not BSNL?
